Heirloom is a horror adventure game that does social commentary on some important topics like discrimination and prejudice. It follows the saga of Aadila, a young girl that got thrown into a labor camp and separated from her people just because she was born in an ethnic minority group. Now she must escape this nightmarish place and attempt to reunite with her family, while trying to not get corrupted by the cruel ways of the adults around her.
- Game Design – coming up with mechanics, implementing visual cues to guide the player, creating the puzzles;
- Level Design – creating layouts for both prototype levels in Blender and then implementing them in-engine (Unity), integrating the puzzles, setting up enemy encounters;
- Narrative Design – created the narrative concept.
- Team Leader – recruiting people for the project, distributing work, organizing testing sessions, organizing work sessions and coaching sessions;
- Scrum Master – implementing Agile methods into the team’s workflow, keeping track of progress, splitting workload.
